Friends and Patrons
The Förderergesellschaft der Musikhochschule Lübeck (Friends and Patrons of the University of Music Lübeck) which is a registered association, supports students with study grants and loans throughout their studies.
As a result of the generosity of the Possehl Charitable Foundation Lübeck, the University of Music has so far received 5 endowed professorships and substantial support with the renovation and restoration of our historic listed buildings. Each year the foundation holds the competition for the Possehl Music Prize at the University of Music Lübeck.
In 2007 the Gemeinnützige Sparkasse Lübeck (trustee savings bank) is financing the
International Buxtehude Organ Competition at the University of Music Lübeck.
