Course of Studies
The studies include instruction in artistic and liturgical organ playing and also in the other subjects of the "B" course, with the exception of a few secondary subjects which do not apply. In addition to the internal non-public examinations in all subjects, public examinations in artistic and liturgical organ playing and choir conducting are also a requirement.
Requirements for the Entrance Audition
Organ as a main field of study
Performance of 4 works of various style epochs with a degree of difficulty of at least the standard required in the "B" final examination. Chorale playing (including transposition) from hymn and song book, sight-playing, chorale improvisation.
Conducting as a main field of study
A task will be announced in writing after the application has been received.
Piano as a compulsory subject
Performance of 3 works of various style epochs with a degree of difficulty of at least the standard required in the "B" final examination.
Voice as a compulsory subject
Performance of either a piano art song, an aria or a sacred concerto as well as a hymn without accompaniment.
Further Admission Requirements for the Entrance Audition
Proof of the qualification in the "B" examination with a final total result of at least "good".
Proof of Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
