Piano Accompaniment
The Extension Course in Piano Accompaniment offers graduates of the Advanced Diploma Course with Piano as a main field of study, professionally-oriented training in piano accompaniment. Students are instructed in the main field of study for two semesters and at the same time perform up to ten hours of piano accompaniment per week.

Qualification
There is no final examination. Students receive a certificate on successful completion of the course.
Terms of admission
Artistic Diploma or Bachelor of Arts with a final result of at least "good" (2.3).
The Diploma or respectively the B.Mus. qualification in the main subject Piano at the University of Music Lübeck can be assessed as a successful entrance audition. Applicants must inform the examining board of their interest in extension studies prior to the Diploma or Bachelor examinations.
Requirements for the entrance audition
- Two peices from the solo-repertoire
- One piece from the instrumental duo-repertoire (Should there be no partner available, please contact the University one week before the entrance audition.)
One peice of the three pieces should be classical music, one piece from the 20th/21th century. - Compulsory piece from the duo-repertoire or accompaniment of a solo-concert. The candidate is given one hour for preparation.
