Studying at the University of Music Lübeck
In addition to its enhanced artistic focus, the Bachelor of Music offers the possibility to take a wide spectrum of subjects. On completing their studies, graduates with the relevant fields of specialisation, can embark on a career as a soloist, orchestra musician, chamber musician, church musician, opera and concert singer, free-lance music teacher etc.
The School Music studies (or the Bachelor of Arts and the relevant Masters programme respectively) allow students to qualify for the teaching profession at grammar schools with the double-subject Music or Music and a second subject. The courses provide sound training for a wide range of professions with a musical basis.
