The following must be prepared
a) two complete works from the solo repertoire
b) one complete work from the instrumental duo repertoire (no orchestral part)

Duration of the prepared pieces
at least 45 minutes

For the works under a) and b), one should be from the classical period and one from the 20th century. If no duo partner is available, the university must be informed by 15 January for applications for the summer semester and by 15 May for applications for the winter semester. The university will make every effort to provide a partner for the desired work, but cannot guarantee this. In this case, the university will determine an alternative work for which a partner can be provided.

Examination piece
The sheet music for this work, which is from the duo repertoire/accompaniment of a solo concerto, will be handed out to the applicants one hour before the beginning of the qualifying examination. A rehearsal room will be provided.

You do not have to submit any video in advance. The qualifying examination takes place exclusively in presence.
