Main subject
Pre-selection based on a video to be submitted. Content and formal requirements for the video: see below.

For harp, guitar, horn, trumpet, trombone, organ and drums/percussion there is no video pre-selection!

Applicants are expected to prepare a very demanding programme of at least 60 minutes. In the instrumental main subject, at least three works from different stylistic periods (including one work from the 20th or 21st century) are to be performed, which demonstrate the ability to interpret and the technical ability.

The video must be uploaded within the application period. In the first step, please send the application via the portal, thereafter you will receive the link to the video portal where you can upload your video.

Applicants must be clearly recognisable. No technical edits are permitted within a performed piece. The video should not be older than 6 months. Piano accompaniment is optional. Works performed in the video may be part of the repertoire for the presence examination.

• Piano
  Works or parts of works from 3 stylistic periods, one of which must be a fast movement from a classical sonata, duration of the video: at least 15 minutes
  
  
• Violin
  Exposition of the first movement of a great romantic concerto and another work or part of a work from another stylistic period, duration of the video: 10-15 minutes
  
  
• Viola
  Works or parts of works from 2 epochs, duration of the video: approx. 15 minutes
  
  
• Violoncello
  First movement of a concerto of free choice
  
  
• Double bass Works or parts of works from 2 epochs
  
  
• Flute
  Exposition of a classical concerto Oboe a Telemann fantasy
  
  
• Clarinet
  Exposition of a classical or romantic concerto and a work or part of a work from another stylistic period
  
  
• Bassoon
  Exposition of a classical or romantic concerto
  
  
• Saxophone
  A complete saxophone concerto by Ibert, Glazounov, Villa Lobos or Martin
