applications perparing for the aptitude test of the MHL of another Music University

1.400 Euro per semester and an additional fee

Course of study
1 hour per week individual lesson in the major instrument. Additional subjects (individual lessons and small groups) or an extendet time-span of the major instrument ar available at extra charge. The attendace of existing group courses (seminars and lectures), the use of the library and practice rooms are inculded.

Final document
The MHL issues a certificate for the complete course.

Admission
Decided by the presidency of the MHL. Application via the supervising Professor at Vice-President.

2) ADVANCED STUDIES part-time, full-time possible

Target group
Musicians with a fully completetd university program who want to receive further knowledge an abilites in the course of their professinal career.

free (new application per semester)

Cost
1.500 Euro per semester and additional fee (121,50 Euro)

Course of study
1 hour per week individual lesson in the major instrument. Additional subjects (individual lessons and small groups) or an extended time-span of the major instrument are available at extra charge. The attendance of existing group courses (seminars and lectures), the use the library and practice rooms are included.

Final document
The MHL issues a certificate for the completed courses.

Admission
Decided by the presidency of the MHL. Application via the supervising Professor at Vice-President.

3) WITH BRIDGE FUNCTION (part-time or full-time)

Target group
Applicants who lack entrance requirements for the Master of Education double major (lateral entry) from their previous studies.

Duration
1 to 2 semesters

Costs per semester
615 Euro tuition fee without individual classes. The attendance of existing group courses (seminars and lectures) as well as the use of the library and the practice rooms are included.

Tuition entitlement
1 SWS individual tuition in the main subject. Additional charges apply for additional subjects (individual and/or small group instruction) and longer HF classes. Attendance of existing group classes (seminars and lectures) as well as use of the library and over-rooms are included.

Individual lessons additionally cost 350 Euro per 0.5 semester week lesson.

Final document
MHL awards a certificate for the successfully completed courses and examination achievements.

Application for admission
Informal application via the lecturer to Vice President Apprenticeship.
In case of a planned start

• for the winter semester: by 20.09.

• for the summer semester: by 20.03.

Admission
The Presidential Board of the MHL decides on admission.
