Festivals & Concert series
With more than 400 annual events, the MHL is one of the biggest concert hosts of Schleswig-Holstein. During the semester, students as well as teachers demonstrate their artistic abilities on stage: symphony concerts, opera performances, pop concerts, exam performances, class presentations, events of the Brahms Institute, public lectures and symposia as well as the renowned Brahms Festival Lübeck are highly anticipated events, the general public looks forward to with great enthusiasm. Countless guests from Lübeck and its surrounding counties come to visit her concert halls known for their excellent acoustics and architecture. By doing so, they support the university in her educational work. The event locations include concert halls at the Obertrave and the Brahms Institute as well as the churches of Lübeck. The concert series »Wir in« leads students to stages of cooperation partners across the state.
