1. Two complete works from the solo repertoire
2. One complete work of the instrumental duo-repertoire
(no orchestra part)
Duration of the prepared pieces: at least 45 minutes
One of the works of No. 1 and 2 should be from the classical period, the other one from the 20th century.
If there is no own duo partner available, the university has to be informed in advance: for applications to the summer semester until 15th of January, for applications to the winter semester until 15th of May. The university will do its best to provide a partner for the intended composition, but it cannot be guaranteed. In this case, the university will determine an alternate work, where a partner would be available.
3. Piece of Exam
The score of this work (duo repertoire/accompanying of a solo concert) will be given to the candidate one hour before the beginning of the exam. A practice room will be provided.
4. Sight Reading
Remark:
The regulations of the entry exam have been revised and are currently going through the formal approval process.
