German Music Competition

The German Music Competition is a unique support project for musicians on the threshold from education to professional life. The various support measures following the competition offer the artists who are successful at the DMW practical guidance, financial as well as non-material support and competent advice on the path to a successful career at home and abroad. The next competition will take place in Bonn from 7 to 19 March 2022. Competition subjects are: Violin, viola, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, accordion, organ, song duo, string trio, string quartet, ensembles in free instrumentation (instrumental/vocal), composition.
