Study opportunities and regulations for (aptitude) examinations for people with special needs are examined individually in accordance with the examination procedure regulations. Contact person is Dr. Michael Pabst-Krueger (see contact below).
Phases of implementation
- 2014 two-day conference "Inclusion - a challenge for schools, colleges and associations" of music education associations with external and internal speakers and a panel discussion.
- 2015-2017 Implementation of an annual InclusionCampus with the participation of external specialists; development of competence descriptions and implementation in the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education study regulations.
- 2017-2018 Goals: Further development of the InclusionCampus, visibility, development of an advanced training concept for teachers of the University of Music Lübeck, long-term implementation on a staff level.
- 2021 Cultural participation for all people – Cooperation between MHL and the Cultural Academy of the Vorwerker Diakonie (KAVD): Inclusive seminars, courses and workshops give those people a chance at cultural education whose access to it is usually made difficult or completely denied. The Inclusion Campus, which already takes place annually at the MHL, is expanded to include practical modules in which the prospective music teachers learn to work with different prerequisites and resources and to profitably include them in their later professional practice. They do not experience diversity as the cornerstone of a hierarchy, but learn to perceive differences and to enable not only equal, but fair participation by balancing and creating a balance. In addition, concert and performance formats will also raise public awareness of the fact that all people contribute to the cultural shaping of society. The cooperation is supported by the non-profit Sparkassenstiftung zu Lübeck and the Daniela Appel Foundation. Click here for a further description of the cooperation.
