»Try out studying«

Eine Studieninteressierte spielt einem Klarinettenprofessor ein Stück vor.

Teaching – workshops – counselling: For more than ten years, the MHL has been offering young people who want to become musicians the opportunity to gain an insight into studying music with a two-day »taster course«. Professors and lecturers are available to advise prospective students on a wide range of subjects. Through lessons and workshops, they give prospective students an insight into studying music in Lübeck. In addition, they are available to answer questions about pursuing a career as a professional musician in the fields of classical music practice, music education (e.g. as a music teacher) and jazz/pop/world music. The focus is on individual talent and resilience, choosing the right subject to study, and career fields and general career prospects in the music industry.
